Morning Losers!

I had a nice evening with a bottle of Single Malt, 18 year old whisky from 1990. Not the nicest I've had, but when it costs £60 a bottle, I'll drink it.
Woken up feeling not too bad, which is good as I'm getting ready to head out to Ladybower for some Peaks riding. First time the Blender will have seen the Peaks, so we'll see how I get on.

Laters!

    Morning bumders

So there hasn't been much on at uni these past few days, as a result yesterday was productive. The people managing our property and the landlord have either realised we're in a fairly strong position or I've exhausted them with my complaining and shouting down the phone and in their offices. Either way they've decided they want to relocate the front door instead of building through our dining room, and will ultimately benefit us. Still fairly pissed off we weren't informed, but as they'll now do the work when we're away for christmas it won't affect us too much really. So, assuming the council is happy with it then it's a win. If not then I'll be back to making their lives hell.

Today will mostly be doing uni work, and sleeping, maybe some bikes at some point for some destressing. The housemate's superbitch girlfriend is being a pain again and trying to boss me about in my house, could get even more interesting around here soon...

    morning

Feeling fresh, which I can't beleive due to the amount of ale & lack of sleep.

Fantastic meal at the Inn @ Grinshill - highly recommended, especially if someone else is paying......

Today has already involved cleaning cars (because the wife decided to send the kids to school down the sh1t filled lanes of shropshire. Now awaiting the fun of a couple of hours of on-line lecture in law & CSR - could be a chance to catch up on some sleep.

After that may take the kids swimming and then get some cycling in before some pals come over for birthday night number 3 - might as well make the most of it!

    Morning Jizz Moppers,

Watched 'Attack the Block' again last night - top film.

Breakfast this morning consisted of a large coffee and a toastie at Nerro's so today is starting off well depsite the cack weather. However I am about to be dragged about doing stuff that doesn't interest me by wifey, including visiting the Mother-in-law who is busy catching flies and wetting the bed in an old folks home - but they do put out free coffee and cake for visitors so it's almost worth it.

Angrybird - think it's time to get the ditch ready for the biatch. There's only so much of that shyte a man should have to take and you're not even married yet.

Tempted to start locking her in the garden when she starts in future, if she's going to act like a bitch she'll be treated like one.

Anyways, had a little 30 miler and just cleaned up the orange, well I say cleaned, cleared the worst of the crap off it, scraped the grime and gunk from the drivetrain and have put it away in the shed for the forseable future.

Might take it back home at Xmas for Cannock and stuff, but the mud around here is just ridiculous and it's too much effort and very time consuming. Might bring the 456 down in the new year, it'll do for the odd trail centre trip and some DH (apparently there are hills down here). More importantly it'll be much more fun just to go and doss around in the woods on and hit some jumps.
  • Great day in the Peaks! The Blender got me round with no problems, and my confidence increases massively when using that compared to the Cube. Bounced down Blackley Hey though, not really designed for hardtails.

The M66 was closed on my way back, and every alternate route was mental! Plus, Bury had been playing at home, so the traffic was abissmal. Typically, that's when I decided I needed the loo  Got home ok though, and food was ready for me. Awesome!

    Evening all.

Staying at the ex's tonight but she isn't here. She took a bottle of gin round to a friends so in the morning I'm either going to be smiling or have a black eye.

X factor is full of benders.
