The amount of times im in Central London and never see anybody famous and then today I come out of a shop in Old Bond Street and a car pulls flying up, a load of lads jump out with camerqs and go running up to a Silver Merc and start flashing their cameras and then Rod Stewart jumps out of the back with his bird! I saw him front on but by the time it sunk in to take a photo he was on his merry way into the shop with me behind him, although I might be in the photographs as I was walking behind him!

I see the journo wrote "Rod sporting a dapper quintessentially English look". Now, I don't seem to recall long tartan coats ever being part of the dapper englishman's wardrobe.

Are you sure that Rod Stewarts shopping trips are "news stories"

Now if he ever learnt to sing without sounding like a bloke with a sore throat on the karaoke, that might be better news.
