    If you report these people to the police, is there any danger of them being provided with or getting hold of your details ie name and address?

    Are you sure they consciously targeted you? It may have just been some random chavscum oxygen-thief type using the British roads as a litter bin.

    All the same - they should still be forced to drink bleach.

    On the other hand today my £30 light fell off my bike. Being the rear light I had not noticed. Fellow cyclist told me and a pedestrian handed it to me as I was walking back looking for it!
