    To be fair, as a non-member of the GT squads and someone who was recovering from injury, he seemed to spend most the year cycling round Essex by himself anyway.....

    Well, he still partook of the Sky training camps in Mallorca, even if he wasnt climbing up Mt Teide to the moon
