I'm sure this counts as a proper climb completed yesterday; made me realise just how super human the pro's are.
Augusta Scicly, to Mount Etna and then back to Catania, only 80 miles but what a feeling to crest the mountain and then spend the next hour downhill into Catania for a lot of cake and coffee.
We're on route to Malta next no hills to speak off but has anyone a route around the island; i've heard the roads are a little precarious

Mount Etna was my first real climb too. Since then I have gone on to conquer Lombardia, Pyrenees & the Alps but I will always remember Etna - it was tough. She taught me how to pace myself and endure pain.
Which way did you go up? I went from the East and back down.
