Compatibility Issues

No, I'm not talking about me and Mrs DB, but SRAM and Shimano.

I've looking at the SRAM WiFli Climbing Kit to give me a lower gearing for some of the steeper climbs. I'm getting older and need all the help I can get.

Obviously this all SRAM componentry; A mid-cage derailleur, 11-32 Cassette and chain. Now, would this be compatible to use with my Dura-Ace shifters. Everything is 10 speed, and the shifter would still need to move the chain across 10 cogs in the same amount of space no matter what I'm using. But I want to be sure they would be compatible before I splash the cash.

Alternatively, I could get the cassette separately and a Shimano 105 derailleur which can cope with 11-32.

What do you think ?

Cheers

Sram shifters need Sram rear mech. will not work with Shimano rear mechs.

The SRAM cassette is no problem, you will need a shimano rear mech though to work with your shifters, get a 105 long cage.
