Bike Hooks

Wanted to hang by front or rear wheel from a wall.

Wickes, B&Q and Homebase do plastic coated hooks for under a tenner that'll let you hang a bike.

Or wait for the nifty (cheap) system from Aldi/Lidl

Any thing will do. Not seen anything near me for under about £20 which was way to much since I need at least six. Not in the UK so was hoping with my next bike parts order from UK or Germany to get something shipped.

I bought a pice of 2x4 and 6 £1 hooks from B&Q. Attach hooks to 2x4, attach 2x4 to wall. Less drilling, less fuss, way cheaper.

If you have hyd brakes, make sure when the bike is hung that the master cylinders are higher than the calipers.

Hooks like those need to come out of the roof not the wall. Going to try the real bike hooks as they are not that badly priced...

Mine come out the wall with one of the wheels on the floor, (have 5 bikes hanging on the shed wall). Have no troubles at all with them, ;-)
