Hi all, I am new to this foum, I have just registered now as I am having difficulty in choosing a saddle bag.
It is to go on my specialized allez elite. It has to be big enough to get a Altura Blitz jacket in, roughly twice the size of the pocket rocket when folded up. Also has to fit, spare tube, mobile, multi tool, maybe a pump if i dont want it on the mount, gels, snack bars etc, i surely have missed something else. I dont like having things in my pockets swinging around on my back when I am out the saddle, so everything will be going in the bag. I could do with it been waterproof aswell, and more than likely a clip to the saddle and not velcro, I have seen a few velcro bags that swing all over the place! Am thinking around the £20 mark.
SO................... what have you got and what do you suggest
Thanks in advance
Chris

TBH - nothing to recommend in that price range - comfort, especially in the arse department is worth more than that for 100km, never mind a few 1000 1http://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

I know the title is misleading but he is asking for a saddle bag..
I bought one off eBay for about 3 quid and it fits tube and levers, keys and a small repair kit no probs.
Took about 3 weeks to come but no complaints so far!0 -
I am sorry, i am after a seat saddle bag not a seat for my bike!
Thanks0 -

Personally I have a very small seat post bag that I can stick my mobile and a £10 note. I don't carry a puncture repair kit as if I have one I'll ring the wife to collect me
In my jersey pockets I'll have my waterproof jacket that packs down to the size of my fist, and in the other 2 I'll have a few gels and some food/cereal bars etc. If you read all the reviews about what to carry with you on a ride you'll end up going out with a couple of panniers and a rucksack too.
As an alternative to the seat bag you could look at the containers that look like water bottles and fit into your standard frame cage like this http://www.probikekit.com/uk/accessorie ... ottle.html0 -
