Hi everyone,
Just wanted a bit advice on the above.
I am riding a lot of flat stuff and dont need a 12-36 rear cassette:
My current setup is 39/26 at front and 12-36 rear.
I want to go 39/36 front and 11-32 rear.
Should I shorten my chain accordingly or can I adjust the rear mech to take up the slack?
Thanks,
tBike..

Remeasure the chain. Though ideally you should use a new one.
You can't go 39/36 front.0 -
Hi, I meant 39/26 up front.
Ok I will re-measure. Chain is hardly used so should not impact on wear.

Rear mech will need some adjustment, indexing may need tweaking (unlikely) but you will need to adjust the b-screw to move the upper jockey closer to the largest sprocket.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Thanks for all your advice, one quick last question...
Is it ok to use my existing Sram XX long cage mech with this setup:
39/26 front and 11-32 rear?
Thanks0 -
Yes..... Although a medium would be slightly better in terms of lower chain run angle and ground clearance.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
