The cake stop is for random banter questions and discussions right?
The landlords repairs thread has had me wondering :
I live on the ground floor of a maisonette, the neighbours above me have recently acquired a motorbike which they park directly in front of my living room window, blocking half the window. Is this allowed/reasonable, seeing that as far as I know the front garden is my responsibility and included in the lease of my property?
TIA

Have a chat and ask them not to park there because it ruins your view. If they're reasonable they will work with you abd park somewhere else. [Assuming you're renting] ask the landlord to clarify that you have sole use of the front garden and that it's not shared with the flat above. If needed, use this to strengthen your position with the neighbour. Try to stay reasonable for as long as possible.0

Those were my thoughts too, but they aren't very reasonable having parked right in fornt of my front door initially and reacting lees than kindly to my aksing them not to park it there, and some other issues.

"....blocking half the window."
Geez, how big is the bike!
Isn't there usually a 'no nuisance' clause in tenancy agreements which you could use if they won't move it?
