lightly modified Giant TCR Advanced

having put together my stealthy black race-build which I finished on Monday evening ( viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12888787 ), last night I turned my attention to another of my bikes which was sitting as a pile of bits in the kitchen. A few hours of spanner twirling and cable cutting later, this is was the result:-
the bike is a 2011 Giant TCR Advanced 2 (size large). The mods over standard are:-
38mm carbon clincher rims on Novatec hubs with Sapim aero spokes
Vittoria Evo Corsa CX tyres
Planet X Ti/Carbon skewers
Swisstop Yellow brake pads
Jagwire Gold Medal cable set
Rotor Q-Rings
Onza gold chainring bolts
Ultegra SPD-SL pedals
Deda Zero 2 (new model) stem (90mm)
Deda RHM02 bars (42cm c-c)
Cinelli Cork ribbon (slightly chewed by the dog)
Cinelli Gel Inserts
Cinelli Milano bar end plugs
The bike fits like a glove (on the turbo trainer). I have no idea how it rides as I haven't actually ridden it yet. The Q-Rings should be a giggle though!

Looks good, I really like giants -> not sure about the gold bits though.. doesn't really match the bike.0

in the flesh it looks great... the 2011 Advanced 2 has mostly grey/silver accents, which work well with gold0 -
Love the wheels and the Rotor Q rings. Can you let me know how you get on with them and where you got them? Why tidy the house when you can clean your bike?0
