Well, the tv stations have said so, so it must be true!! How do tv stations get to decide POTUS??

What with all the usual stuff about balloting not working, which seems to be different in every state, I find the US elections very confusing.

reminds me of this....

Romney has said so too so there must be something in it, like the results posted have Obama reacing the required amount maybe?...............
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Oo - I know this - Emily Maitliss explained it last night!

Basically about 35% of the votes have been cast in advance. The TV companies then use extensive data analysis techniques and lots of other clever things such as exit poll interviews etc to build a statistical model of how things work.

This may not be accurate at times - see Florida in the Bush/Gore year, but gives people enough certainty to "call it" before all votes are tallied - which can often take a number of weeks.

Mitt came across as another republican idiot and Trump is a truly horrid person.

Barry's doing his best, but I can't help but think that the true catastrophes will happen over the next 4 years. The printing and borrowing (kicking the can further down the street) will at some stage come to an abrupt and painful end.

It will probably start with the UK.
