hi all,
hoping someone can help with a problem i have. i'm in the process of changing the spindles on my speedplay light actions for longer ones, however i am having a nightmare trying to find replacement grease port screws and seals, as the ones currently fitted are well and truly stuck and the only way to get them out is to break them. I have looked online and found a few places that stock speedplay part no.13090 which the place i ordered them from assured me was what i needed , now i have them though they clearly aren't the right thing. Does anyone know where i can buy the grease port screws and seals?
thanks
Si

i'm surprised they're stuck though, at least with zero pedals i've never had that happen
the screws on the end of the spindles though, they can be really tough, they are secured with loctite and have to be heated to release, when rebuilding i put them in the oven at 180 c, which is ok for a *rebuild* but not a good idea if you want to use any of the plastic bits again!my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
I found the UK stockists less than useful when I was trying to source long spindle pedals but a direct approach to SpeedPlay US did the trick.Purveyor of "up"0

thanks sungod, the top link you posted was the part that i ordered and its not right, however the middle link looks like it has the 2 tiny rubber seals that i need so thanks for that i will try and order them when they come in to stock.0

So you have everything apart from the o-rings? They are tiny but would have thought you could get them from a plumber's merchants.0

If its just the O rings you need, you can get them here:

I found the dimensions from a quick web search - American site, so size is in inches:
#6 = 7/16 OD x 9/16 ID x 1/160 -
thanks for the replies guys, i have ordered them from winstanley bikes0
