Changing brake rotors only

I have an scott aspect 920 (2013) so i have Shimano BR-M395 disc brakes (180mmF/160mmR)
I am trying to make my bike ride better and look better, I would like to change my brake rotors, not the braking system.
Shimano has pretty good brakes but to my opinion the brake rotors are most of the time ugly.
So my question is: is ot possible to change those rotors to another brand without changing the brake system?
If it is possible, you may give me the names of some good looking brake rotors!
