Help picking a bike required ??

Hi,
I am just about to buy my first 29er and due to budget I have decided to go for a 2012 bike reduced. I currently ride a standard 2011 stumpjumper fsr comp which has been built proof and I love the geometry of the bike and way it rides. It also seems to do everything I need, although sometimes feel slightly more suspension travel is required due to the type of riding I do.
I have been looking at the specialized camber fsr both the standard and the comp. Standard is down from £2000 to £1200 and the comp from £2400 to £1700
Also looking at the Fuji outlander 2.0 & 1.0 both reduced to around the same price as above, but have never heard of them are they any good ????
I am not to up on components etc that come on the standard bikes and don't really have the money to start upgading parts
I have started to do endurance events 10-12 hour races etc and need the bike I get to be up to the job. I am leaning towards the specialized just cause I know what I'm buying
Any owner or expert advice would be great thanks

The Specialised at the cheaper end, the Fuji at the top end. Personally I would get the standard Camber, based on spec and price.I don't do smileys.

I think I'd go for the Camber Comp if you can afford it. The opgrades are worth it (although I'd prefer a RS fork) I wouldnt go for the fuji just cos I know nothing about them - good kit on the top end one mind.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0

6'2 my stumpjumper fsr is an XL. When I tried that bike the large frame just felt to compact for me didn't like the feel of it but the XL felt like the perfect fit. They don't have the camber in stock, so just went with what I already have regarding frame size
I find the specilized bikes feel smaller frame wise as my brothers Marin is a large but has the same frame dimensions as my XL stumpy0
