Hello all,
I'm going to be posting a bike (within the UK) at some point. Can anyone recommend a courier they have used for complete bikes, who can pick up and deliver? How much approximately did it cost you?

Thanks

  • You don't state where you are. I've used Paisley Freight who deliver UK wide ( I think there may be a tie up with City Link ). I delivered a bike from NE Scotland to middle England and charged £ 20. I think its gone up to £22

ParcelForce, if you remove the front wheel and get a box less than 1.5m long then £38. If you go longer than 1.5m (which you shouldn't have to) then £56. Both are 48 hour service.

But pack well! Make sure the rear mech is well protected as well as shifters. And if you are selling the bike, make sure that the buyer knows that if the bike arrives damaged, that they will have to pay return shipping.

Plenty of other threads with other recommendations if you use Search.

Have a look at senditnow i've used them a few times for frames and wheels, they're half the price of parcel force but they use parcel plus you pick the time for the pick up.
