Spending on my MTB - forks and tyres

Specialized hardrock pro hardtail
Mostly used for riding local trails and might do some races next summer, no scary downhill stuff. Need a good all round tyre as I won't be swapping and changing. I'm happy with the bike, gears, brakes but the forks are rubbish as are the tyres, hence my post
Fork budget is £200 but I was thinking I might stretch it for these (I weigh 64Kg so air is the way to go yes?)

Tyre budget is £50 for the pair. I was thinking these

Any other suggestions?

Both excellent choices, the fork is a no brainer at that price.0

Except they seem to be tapered steerer. On One seem a bit confused.I don't do smileys.

Yeah I saw the solo, is it not worth the extra for dual air?
I'm a roadie, I don't understand what it means to be honest ??0 -
Hold your horses
What's this tapered steerer stuff all about?0 -
Part of the ad says tapered steerer. Other part says standard. You need standard!
Solo air is new on this fork for 2013, supposed to be easier to use. Older ones are dual air, and offer more tuning.0 -

OK so I can't buy the tapered one
should I be looking for a dual air fork, are they somehow better? I do like fettling as long as it's not pointless. I read somewhere that the solo air is like a downgrade for 2013?0 -
I think dual air is better for the tinkering reasons, you can tune the feel at the start of the fork. Manufacturers are dumbing forks down for the masses, which is unfortunate, so the older versions in my opinion are better ie 2012 and before.0

As one of the masses, I get on quite well with Recon Gold solo air. Compared to the rigids of my youth (and middle age TBH) they are amazing, and simple enough for me to get comfy on. But for those who know what they are doing, or ride more than XC single track, dual air seem to make a significant difference.
Although I am of the opinion that a lot of people with fancy kit don't have a clue on setting it up.
Getting back to On One, the dual air are shown as tapered in the actual buy it bit, so I would guess that's what they are, or contact On One and check. Tapered won't fit your bike.I don't do smileys.

I have the rebas shown in your link - the 2011 model. They are great! For the first couple of weeks i played with every setting imaginable and had great fun. Now i never lock out the fork (mostly because i forget to) so i dont need an adjustable floodgate and although i like my negative to be set a little higher than my positive, i could easily live without. Infact if someone were to change it id probably not notice..... My 'man brain' likes the fact i have the added "gadgets" if needed but in reality i dont really need them at all (for what i ride).
At £224 the 2013 reba is fantastic value and that is the one i would buy, knowing what i do now.
p.s. those tyres are fekkin horrible! (sorry The Beginner)
