Mehning Losers!
Really cba with work today. I need to go to bed earlier as I'm being drained of life.
I can't wait to move out of this house now. Nothing particular has happened to annoy me, it's just thinking of the things I'd do differently that are making me dislike housemates.
Ah well, normal Monday mayhem followed by Judo this evening.

Well, that weekend sure disappeared quickly and once again it is Monday morning and here we are back at the coal face scraping a living.
Freezing cold this morning so brought the car in. It took around 10 minutes to get all the ice off so I could drive safely. Don’t know why I bother sometimes as most people around here can’t drive anyway even if they can see.
Tea to warm me up and then search out some cake.

Morning bumders
Hockey match was a walkover yesterday as the opposition decided not to turn up, bit annoying as I'd driven back down just for it. On the bonus side I got offered a session with the county coach later today so that should be good. Uni meh before then though.

Mehning retards of the crud!

Morning Mongs
Productive weekend plastering, sanding and generally sorting the house out. Yesterday was fun with rain for most of the day, 2 hours of it spent on the bike getting covered in mud. It took 2 bathfulls of water to get my clothes clean enough to go in the washing machine
Today will be spent working hard so that I can go home at a reasonable hour.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Hello Crudcatching scuttlers
I am back from Milford and have another week off, today however will be dealing with paperwork and failure.
Firstly I have to ring the insurers with details of everything thats been pinched from our sheds over the last week, then pop out and get alarms for them. Then its make door to door enquiries in the street to see where UPS whave delivered my wheel to. No card, the tracking details have been logged on line and just say its been left with OHagan, but I dont know who the fark OHagan is.
Then have words with Swalec after they tried to bill us for gas 12 months ago when we didn't live in the house and see where my returned seatpost has got to with the folks at wiggle.
See what disappearing for the week does, especially when you have to deal with idiots

Afternoon
Today is much like any other monday except tonight I will be going to a bonfire (yay fireworks and roast pork, stuffing and apple sandwiches). Unfortunately I am going with some smug marrieds, and my ex fiance and his girlfriend. Fun!
I'm starting to think that I might as well just give up and buy a horse. I'd probably be happier.
Kisses

Bonfires have lots of fire and explosives and are an easy place to make something look like an accident0 -

Been a busy day at work, so not told anyone here!0 -
Just had some brilliant news  Rant time
We signed the contracts for this house we're in back in summer. We decided we wanted to live here because it had a nice big kitchen and dining space. Just found out today that a builder is coming tomorrow to put a couple of walls and a door right the way through it for fire regualtions or something... meaning we now have no dining space, and more importantly no space to work either as there's not going to be the room for a table
Now I know there's nothing I can do, rules are rules but the estate agents have known since July and haven't bothered to tell us, had we known we wouldn't have taken the bloody house, we wanted a house with some decent communal space, it's pretty much the only reason we decided to rent it.
Rant over.
I'm in the mood to smash some stuff. Fortunately it's keeper training in a bit so I'll be able to smash a few unlucky coaches up to vent the anger0 -
I'd be getting in touch with your Uni's support team people. They should have someone in charge of student welfare who can probably help you out. If you weren't told about it, and the contract states rooms, then your landlord is breaking the contract in my opinion.
You should certainly be allowed some form of compensation for it. And what H&S rule needs a corridor through a dining room!?It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Apparently it's fire regulations because of where the bedrooms are placed
Will be popping in to ask at the uni tomorrow...0 -

Sounds like HMO (Homes of multiple occupancy) regs to me - if you have over a certain number of people ina house it changes how it is treated as a let - they are crap rules forced in by Labour in the dying days - they effectively mean landlords are required to mutilate beautiful old victorian houses to make them fit with stupid rules that wouldnt apply if you were a 4 child family but do apply because you are 6 grown adults. They are designed to protect tenants from slum landlords but if you as a right thinking person has gone and looked at a house and decided you like it they still have to modify it. My mate has a house he rents and is fighting the regs tooth and nail.Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -

Fucking rules. Yeah there's 4 of us here so maybe it's that. We've not really got a choice in not having it done, the problem we have is they knew it was going to be done when we signed our contracts but didn't tell us, had we known we'd most likely not have rented it. It's also turning the house into a building site for a week and the general nuisance they're going to be with less than 24hrs notice :evil:0
