Anyone who rides with the saddle too high and the nose down is a fraud ;-)
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Bars don't match I'd be suspicious of that... probably got sent the wrong colour from china.
  • And unless Team Sky are going to ride with dork discs on the rear I don't think anybody else will

    Fake
  • Background to the question? Have you been stung, if so who by?

    Fake

The "spoke guard" does look a bit out of place. And is that front Q/R lever on the wrong side?

Aaargh! That dork disk offends my poor eyes! :-) So if this is a fake have you been duped or someone else? I've seen quite a few dubiously prices Pinarellos/Colnagos from sites in the far east. If it seems to good to be true... What are your rights on these if they're wrongly advertised, it's China so I'm assuming none but if you bought it with Paypal?

Nope not been duped or conned etc.
Just thought I'd raise the question as chinarellos seem to be becoming more common place.
This particular model actually has a very good carbon frame and if it were decal-less I may have been tempted.

I don't think anyone can really pull off a Pinarello shaped frame... its obviously still a Pinarello knock-off and therefore even without the decals you're still appearing to endorse the people that make them... and you still look like you're riding a fake Pinarello. (at least with the decals on it looks real from a distance  )

If you go for another style Chinese frame you get something unique with none of the negative associations.

    Chinarello Dogpoo

If I bought one mine would be like this, except I'd have the stem the right way round, gears, and better chainset. And pedals :D

I have spent a lot of time in China (to much) and a lot of the clothing fakes you buy in the local Chinese markets actually come out of the same factory as the originals. You hear plenty of stories of why/how these appear, I have brought a few items and you can not tell any difference to the real "original" item..

Bikes may be a different matter though..
