Flow saddles

Hi all I'm wanting to know as I've never ridden 1, do they work! Or is it jut a fad? Looking for a new saddle, currently ride fizik Arione but I do suffer from numbness after a while. I thought this was just me but after recently looking into it it would appear its more common than I thought. Hence why I'm now looking at a flow and in particular a sella italia slr carbonio flow.

    I swapped to the flow saddles a few years back and they work for me but we're all different when it comes to saddles. I've got the carbonio flow and the SLR flow, the carbonio is a comfy saddle but the SLR is a bit too soft and is now on the winter bike.
