Swinley Forest

Hi all,

Does anyone know what condition Swinley Forest is in at the moment? i.e. too muddy?

I have never been before but am planning too next weekend, I don't want to turn up and be disapointed!

    Its ok, but also boggy as hell in places, it would be easy to be disappointed if you ride in the wrong places! If your happy to stay on the main 'hardened' trails you'd be ok. Where are you coming from?

    I presume this is the main hardened trails? I'll be coming from Uxbridge

    Kind of, some of it. If you want someone to show you around I'll probably be free most weekend, and chances are there'll be a few more. It's much easier as nothing is marked. And there are some fun bits not on that route, avoiding the fireroads.
