You may have missed the huge lights thread, worth looking for!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Look at What Lights? which has a link to a 'simple all you need' set up... there's a huge discussion thread (latest incarnation here), and one of the contributors - DIY - has a posting of his recommendations.
XML torches are a good shout... less than £10 each (you should have a min of 2... one bar one helmet - better definition and 'redundancy' too), £5 charger, £5 for cells and £5 for bar and helmet mounts. So all you need can be had for £40-50 if you go down the torches route. That's not much to spend to hugely increase your riding opportunities! There are plenty of other options, too... as you will see it's a BIG discussion.Vitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

they look uncannily like the magic shine lights that I was just looking at... I guess that they all come out of the same Chinese factories and just get re-branded.0 -
Yup....you pay a lot more for the warranty and support, but as they are fairly reliable and for the price of one magicshine you can buy 3 of the Chinese sold ones.......they aren't that unreliable!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
