I just got a pair of these. Really good reviews (had a good one in Cycling Plus). I know less than you are looking to spend but good price.

These are the model up. Come in at £80.99. Not sure what they are like but if you have the cash may be worth a look at.

Hi mate I recently bought a pair of Specialized BG Comp Road Shoes from J E James Cycles in Rotherham, and they are a great pair of shoes, very comfy and for less than £100. :D

These are so comfy, got rid of my Shimano's for these
  • one thing to bear in mind with specialized shoes they have a built in (i think 3 degrees) into the sole to help pedal square but that does not suit everybody including me. I use Mavic Zxyelium or however the stupid word is spelt as they are 100% flat/level and i use a custom insole.
  • Cheers for the Advice guys. I have bought a pair of DHB R01 shoes. At £39 u cant go wrong. Orderd some winter bib tights as well. All for the price of a pair of shimano shoes.
    Cheers again

What winter bibs did you order? Just interested as I have been looking for some! The shoes you got - £39? I can only see them at £45.

  • Wiggle's pricing is odd. I got my dhb r2.0cs for £45, I'd been looking into them then one day they were on half price, the next day and ever since they were back at £90. I even trashed them cycle touring and wanted them repaired, but wiggle were outstanding and sent me a brand new pair, so I've had two pairs for £45!

Hi Sorry for the delay in responding. I signed up to wiggles newsletter
Giving the extra 5 quid off the shoes. Had to send them back and get a bigger size.
It looks like the shoes are made by Lake according to the label in the insole.

I also ordered a pair of DHB hi viz roubaix tights for £61. Grea looking product.
Sizes do come up small though. DHB never had this prob before.
    So they havevgone back.

    Cheers
