Dedaccai HTS Zero and Reynolds 853 Proteam

Hi, could anybody tell me what the difference is between the Deda HTS Zero and Reynolds 853 Proteam tube sets? Is one stiffer and lighter etc? Thaks for any information.Cheers.

    The difference will be more determined by the builder than the materials per se - it depends a lot on the selection of tube sizes and gauge (thickness) and whether they suit you as a rider. Both materials are equally as stiff - but a larger diameter tube will be stiffer than a thin one that uses the same wall-thickness. The only frame I can find online that uses Deda HTS is the Casati Laser - a quality frame from a great builder.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Thanks for that, i am going to Brian Rourkes on Monday for a frame fit and noticed on the website that they build in the Deda HTS as well as all th Reynolds tubesets. I`ve more or less decided on the 853 Proteam for my Audax bike but wondered about the Deda. Thanks once again.

    Why not ask Mr. Rourke? I would think that the builder would be the best person to ask. Especially one with such a good reputation as he has.
