    I'm always amazed he didn't call the organisers assassins as a reference to the original Tourmalet ascent

    Thanks for this. Truly epic.

    Just a shame that 4 of the 5 winners on this climb have all been busted for doping (including the much lamented Jiminez) and the other is Cobo. Maybe an indication that it's just too hard?
