New stem

Can anyone reccoment a good, light 1.5" steerer stem? Current bars are hussefelt truvativ comp, stem preferabbly in red

Not a hundred percent on what you mean... im not looking for a certain stem length or rise in particular, preferably short stem with low angle of rise? Or am i just being a newbie idiot again

you can usually get them in a range of lengths, although, most 1.5 stems are fairly short being aimed at the cool cats on FR/DH bikes

The length and rise of a stem effects the handling of the bike so you might want to read up a little bit and understand what you're buying and how it may affect your bike before you buy.

yeh its pretty much same dimensions as my current one, so i'm happy, little smaller length so hopefully slightly better handling. Also its in red so it will go faster

It is a lot, but when you supply blow and hookers for a lifetime you can afford it

Maybe I'm just cheap and nasty, or getting old (OK I'm all three), but I have three usable bikes lying around that combined cost less than one of those stems.

Sweet - not as nice as my Hope stem, but nice!

...and as soon as I put my Red Hope stem on I went faster!
