Any old skool cycling vids, to stave off the winter blues.

As we tumble further towards the dark recesses of winter, I enjoy nothing more than watching some proper old cycling.
I've watched the 20 min vid of the early 1960's (I think) tour, with the bar raid etc.
The wheelsuckers vid of L'eroica, recently posted, was fantastic.
What else passes the long winter evenings, the retro'er the more eclectic the better.

I paid out for the over priced DVD but rumour has it that it is available on Youtube.
Plus, Robert Millar - The High Life.None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
Always wanted to watch A Sunday in Hell. Might ask for it for Xmas...
How about something from here:

Yeah I've lived 'Hell' a fair few times.
I'm after 10-20min cycling shorts, a la this one pulled from here:-

Not really vintage, but there's a few good Graeme Obree documentaries on you tube, split into a 10-15 min parts:

Just found this on youtube too:

I fancy watching that one.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -
I enjoyed Stars and Watercarriers, speshly the time trial. they rode pretty 'flat' and very smoothly despite the lower cadence than modern cycling. Eric Zabel, The TdF Hell On wheels is quite good. Just been searching on youtube and I think they have taken off the full length version. Copyright and all that unless its there somewhere.

Sunday in Hull - its helmet cam footage of a communter in the east ridings of yorkshire. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -

Worth a watch.
Hell On Wheels is great, well worth buying the DVD.
"The Final Hour" about Boardman's Athlete's Hour record is good. I also like "battle of the bikes" about the Boardman and Obree rivalry.--
