When i'm out on my bike I tend to stick to quiet country back roads. The problem is these roads don't show up on the Garmins map unless I zoom right in to a ridiculous scale. Is there any way around this? Thanks.

  • What map set are you using?

It has a "City Navigator Europe NT" SD card. However I'm not totally convinced the Garmin is set up right, as I'm not impressed with the maps and this makes me think is it only showing the free maps and not whats on the SD card?

  • Sounds like you probably haven't got the correct map selected.

Try going to settings>system>map>map information/select map then choose the CN NT map from here. Just click the CN button and choose enable. When you start the Garmin up it should tell you which maps are loaded on the initial splash screen just to be sure.
