Stick-on elbow patches

Anyone know if it's possible to get such a thing as stick-on elbow patches to glue on to a waterproof jacket. The inevitable has inevitably occurred - new jacket, new hole in the elbow from a fall...
Thanks in advance,

I have used duck tape before when I was away racing. It worked but I would not recommend it as a permanent fix. Where I live we have a local seamstress who often patches cycle clothing. I don't really know how she does it I just know many of the local lads use her. It may be worth contacting one local to you and see what they can do.0

Tubeless, all you have to do is smear yourself in sheeps woohoo sauce (periodically renew) and inflate yourself with a compressor and you'll never tear your jacket again.0

If it's something like Goretex or eVent - adheisve patch kits are available, usually from good out-door retailers.
But largely, it's just material and patches can be stitched on and sealed. How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

I used duck tape on mine- it comes off eventually if you wash the jacket, due to heat, but otherwise works really well. And avoids looking like a history teacher.Uncompromising extremist0

If its a tear, just sew up and retreat with waterproofer. The elbow is not the most exposed part of a jacket.A Flock of Birds
