Could someone explain what actually happened here because I appear to be having a thick moment.

he had an incident with a Corsa, stopped to exchange details (as the driver was injured apparently), two supposed 'mates' stopped to pick up his damaged bike in a transit and have since disappeared (!) and he was struck and killed by a second Corsa!

all very odd, except we all know to avoid Corsas anyway - very sad for him and his family whatever, but it sounds dodgy

When I was at school a mate was knocked down when crossing a road by a minibus and some kind people stopped to nick his CDs and discman.

I'm not surprised by things like this anymore which is a very sad state I'd rather not be in but there are simply people out there who will take advantage of any given situation that comes their way without any remorse.

30 yrs ago I met a woman who had had a fit near the barbican . Someone nicked her handbag while she was convulsing and the attention of bystanders was on her.
