Test ride if you can, but as with many 29ers, especially in 2013, the parts value is poor. For this money I'd be expecting a carbon frame and lighter parts.

Thanks for the info, and i think your right.

For a carbon frame i seem to drop parts quality significantly though.

If you had to choose, which would you take (money no object)?
