urgent help needed WINTER BIKE!

Do you think this will make a decent do it all bike for commuting, turbo training, winter use and some offroading or cx use? i know its only sora but its cheap as chips and whilst i dont love it my commute will be more enjoyable on this compared to the cheapo mtb. just a bit worried about it getting nicked from the station.
