i have a rockrider 9.1 2010 model i think,it has an x fusion o2 rear shock with no rebound, lockout or anything, just the basic,i was in the future thinking of buying a new bike but someone on here gave me some sound advice about upgrading forks, front wheel.i also want to upgrade my rear shock in the future,i roughly know that from eye to eye is the big measurement, but to get exact size would i need to fill it totally with air or just take size when off bike,i seen an o2 rl on CRC at 70 quid and thought about buying that to replace mine but there is 2 different sizes to choose from,

you also need to know the stroke.
so have you measured the i2i you dont need to fill it with air as when you are not on the bike it is at max length."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

That's how to measure the shock if you're not too sure. Nick was probably going to post that at some point anyway.0 -
thanks nick and oxocube1.i bet its the 190mm and full price for upgrade....can i put any on as long as its the same size, and what would happen if it was different size??Giant Reign 2

I'm sure it is damped, and fairly sure it's 190mm i2i. So all you'd really getting would be lockout.
Which, IMO isn't worth the bother.I don't do smileys.
