Why can't we have signature images?

I want to put my strava data in my signature:

SigImage.php?athleteId=203408&rows=3&units=M&field1=seg&field2=kom&field3=pod&field4=t10&field5=t25&field6=t50&field7=ridesTotal&field8=distanceTotal

    it was removed years ago. IIRC people were taking the P with image size.

    any chance of getting them back? You can restrict image sizes..
