Does anyone know if the 2013 Ride London 100 is a complete route, or is it laps?

I know the Ride London Freecyle is laps (replaces Sky Ride), but the 100 says ...

RideLondon100 will start in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follow the closed roads through the capital and onto Surrey’s stunning country roads and hills. With leg-testing climbs and a route recently made famous by the world’s best cyclists, this promises to be truly spectacular event for all involved.

... and somewhere else it says it ends at the Mall

As far as I know it's one loop (albeit with slightly different start and end points), following a similar course to the Olympic RR.
  • I've entered the ballot, my understanding is that it is a loop starting at Olympic park ending at the mall, it will then be followed by the professionals so you have to complete in an allocated time. Therefore all the sportive finishers will be at the finish line to see all the professionals.
  • Ok cool :-)
I just got an invite to enter, so have done so.

I've entered too and also got a possible entry through a charity, so hopefully I'll get a place.

So I've entered the ballot, but wondering if successful am I forced to pay up somehow if I then decide I don't wanna do it? Can't see how they can force people to pay come February,

They are taking 75,000 applications for 20,000 places in the ballot. They won't hold a place for you just in case you fancy it. Lots of us want to ride it.

I've managed to get a guaranteed place raising money for Beating Bowel Cancer. It will keep me focused on training through the winter. At 21 st I will lose weight and raise money for a superb charity so we both win. 8)

I would guess that if you win the ballot (1 in 3 chance) you will be given some time to make a payment before the place is released to someone else. As you say, you haven't put in any payment details, so if you choose not to pay there will be plenty of people who will step in.
