Hi Everyone,
I've got a Carerra Subway 2 which i have been riding to work, and it's going pretty well. the standard tyres are ok, but i have been suffering with a few punctures lately from the small country lanes i travel down. the punctures are being caused by small slithers of flint that are cutting through the tyre and giving me the problem.
I know nothing will be completely puncture prof, but is there any recommendation you guy's swear by for this issue? my bike has 26" wheels, and i'm not to worried by budget, so any ideas would be welcome.
My riding is all on road as well, although a few of the roads are a little on the rough side.
Thanks in advance.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus have a bomb-proof reputation. I'm using Panaracer RiBMo myself which are lighter and slicker but also have good puncture protection.

Another RiBMo user here, they have a strange shape tread that means you have much thicker tread in the middle where you need it and you run on a narrower section for less drag.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
