I recently bought a Cannondale Caad 10 bike and i have covered about 1000 miles on it, its a super bike, but when i am out for any more than 15 / 20 minutes i am getting pains in my hands and arms.
I flipped the stem over so the handlebars are a bit higher but it has not stopped the pains in my hands and arms.
So can anyone here offer any help please?

If moving your hands around more often doesn't cure it, then it's likely to be a fit problem putting too much weight through your arms/hands.

Yea i know there must be too much weight going through my hands / arms but how do i go about solving this,
there is so much conflicting info online its difficult to know which to believe. from moving the saddle back to turning the bars so the brake levers are tilted toward the rider to fitting an adjustable stem.

you need to build your core muscles (i know as i had this problem) your resting your weight on your hands get a gym ball and so sit ups on it this will help build your core and your hand pain will go :)

I have been cycling about 15 years so it might be a little too late trying to build the core muscles.

Try levelling the saddle using a spirit level. If it's tilted too far forward it forces you to put all of your weight on your hands to keep you from sliding off the front.

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

Also, if you've tilted it forward to reduce pressure on your gentleman area, might be that your saddle's too high.
