Best short descent on the IOM

First ride back today after a few weeks off after I smashed my knee again.
My favourite descent on the island, it's fast, it's loose, and I've currently got the KOM for it on Strava (that's right, I'm one of those losers).
Apologies in advance for the ghey little "foot out" moment towards the end. I find I'm still a little twitchy, and that corner has caught me out LOTS in the past. Behind the camera there is a ditch, where I would rather not end up with my head on backwards.

Cool short vid! Just a quick pointer, If you aren't doing it already, wear the GoPro upside down on the chest mount and have it facing up so that when you stand and ride you get a higher angle. You just then either need to flip the image on the GoPro itself, or if it doesn't have that function (not sure if some do/don't!) just flip the video whilst editing.
I had the same issue with just having top bar, forks and a little trail in the shot when i first used the chest mount, but then read up about it on the net and found out it works really well.0 -
Yup, been doing that myself, still working on the angle though, It's a pretty new toy, only used it like 3 times
and yes, the HD hero 2 has the little function to swap the picture upside down or whatever.0 -

Hey I've done that run
But I didn't think it was that long that the weather had time to change so quick - must be an IOM thingI'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

How did you 'mount' the camera in the trees btw?
I want to get a gorilla pod for my contour0 -
Richie - You can confirm that it's an awesome little trail then
I did 1 full run with the chest mount, then went back up and did 1 section at a time for the fixed camera. Was all done in about an hour. The weather did change really quick though, the mist was just starting to burn off as I went down the first time.
Monkey - It was hung upside down from a branch of the tree (all 3 of them) with the gorrilla pod, which by the way is amazing.0
