Need GPS watch for my dog.

I got a Garmin 800 for the bikes. And a Forerunner 305. And Strava/Endomondo on the iPhone...
Anyway - I took the dog out round the fields today for a 5 mile walk, but I reckon Dogger ran at least 7 miles, running quarter mile rings around me non-stop. She wants a Strava account, but there is no way she is borrowing my Garmins, and I'm not buying her an iPhone (she'd lose it!)
Can anyone recommend a very cheap and small device to attach to her collar? Or sell me an old one you don't need. I think the maps from her data would be pretty funny. Anything that simply records the data will do - doesn't need a heart rate monitor, training zones, calories, etc
This is a serious question and nothing at all to do with being bored and/or drunk.

This ^ doesn't seem to record where you have been - just where you are.
She doesn't want this one. Needs something that records data that can be uploaded to Strava.
Thanks for the reply though :-)Trek Madone 3.1 Carbon 2012 Road

my dog wore one of these - she shot off after a fox once - impressive resultshttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Admit it, you're trying to keep tabs on your wife with a tiny GPS device.0

Heh - nah, I'm not looking for something to locate - just something to record the data when were out for upload when we come back. I think the maps generated would be pretty mad as the dog shoots off into the woods chasing stuff.
This did seem like a better idea last night when I was 2 bottles of Pinot downTrek Madone 3.1 Carbon 2012 Road

FWIW, I think this is a superb idea! I've always wondered what dogs get up to when they disappear for 5 minutes and come back covered in dirt, foliage and muck with an innocent look on their face.0

Would love a similar thing for my cat, who knows what he gets up to all day. Would have to be tiny though, he won't even keep a collar on for more than a few hours !Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

Looks like this could be the answer. Maybe £44 is too much for a dog though.

I've got one of those. The idea was to put in a pocket when out on a ride for mapping but I bought a Garmin so don't use it. I've had the same idea about attaching it to the dog and taking the Garmin with me to compare our walks but I've never got round to it.

FWIW, Decathlon in France sell a range of GPS trackers / collars for hunting dogs - one can track up to 200 dogs with a range of 10km - a snip at about E500 !! Doesn't seem to stop dozens of the poor mutts wandering around the forests lost every weekend, though.0

I always fancied one of those collar cameras for my cat - they record a photo every 10 mins or so. I suspect that I'd just have ended up with 1000s of photos of my bed, or the sofa though.
I want to be a cat.0
