Hi guy's, any one got a Moda Stretto 56cm, if so what height are you, i am 6ft just over and was wondering if the 56cm would fit or would it have to be a 58cm?

any help welcome.

  • My mate is similar height to you and has 33" inside leg
He rides a 56" Stretto and has no issues.
  • Cheers mate, going to try one out today, the shop only has a 56cm so i will see if it fits later. :)

  • Tried the Stretto for size, felt a little cramped :( , so bought a Spesh Tarmac Comp instead! :D

How can anyone tell without riding on it for at least an hour?? It perplexes me..
  • They are called bike fitters and i have been on enough bikes over the years to tell when some thing is not right.
    Simples.

Totally agree - had my bike 2 years and still not sure if its a perfect fit - sometimes feels too long on the reach sometimes just right! But out of the saddle it feels like the bike is too short.

Did you have a bike fit in a good shop? What i thought was o.k the shop showed me the stem was infact 20mm too long.

To be honest the fit was not what I was expecting but after riding bikes for 30 years i know that its not until you have a few miles under your belt riding a range of conditions that you get to know what adjustments you need. Sitting on a bike in a shop or on a turbo is not the real world experience. Anyway i am sure you will be fine i am just going by my experience.

No probs mate, i have been riding for 45 years and used to build my own bikes.
Every one has different experiences depending on where the go to try and buy.
