Olympic velodrome

Does anyone know what is happening with the Olympic velodrome? I didn't think it was being dismantled, but I haven't seen or heard about any events being planned for it. I missed out on seeing any olympic events there but would like to see any other events being held, if there are any?

    pretty sure it is shut down whilst the park is ripped apart, but will reopen late summer next year and will be available for limited public use

    I was looking into this too. From what I can tell it will become a part of the Lee Valley Cycling Center (or something like that). I hope there will be some amateur track leagues started and the Revolution will have a presence there with Manchester and Glasgow. I also read the area will have a road/crit circuit too.

    You can register for email/spam here... which you will do as the website is a sack of shite and leaves you with more questions than answers. I just hope 2013 will give the South a great facility at any level
