Just took delivery of new bike and have just finished assembling it.
The problem I have got is wether the lock on the handlebar is on or off the forks compress exactly the same distance.
Am I missing something or do I have to do anything ?

Is the poploc actrually doing what it should? i.e. pulling the knob right the way around? What happens if you do this by hand?0

This. undo the pich grub screw and pull the cable through a bit tighter.A Flock of Birds

Yeah it's pulling it round ill try pulling it through a bit more.0

It's actually better I've found to not let it return all the way back from locked out, ie have the cable overtightA Flock of Birds

Also make sure the floodgate is set correctly. If it is on minimum it may not lock.0

I pulled it through a bit and it is locking out now when I press the handle bar lever.

I watched the above vid on YouTube and it says the grub screw should be facing forward towards the front wheel at say 12 oclock if your sat on bike. Mine is at 6 o'clock if your sat on bike does this make a difference ?0 -
If it works it shouldn't matter. As long as it isn't affecting the fork when the lockout is off.0

it doesnt seem to be affecting it. Is there anything else i need to know about these forks ? Should they be set up when they arrive on the bike if you know what i mean ? They seem complicated at the moment.0

I think reading the manual will help. If they are the latest version they should be simple as the are solo air.0

I can't make head nor tale of manual what do the knobs do on underside of fork ? Or do I not need to worry about them ?0

Nope no shock pump ! Only got the bike today. Wouldn't even know what to do with one to be fair.0
