Started playing Dead Island yesterday and was let down immediately! ive got mine in HD but if anyone saw the advert they put out for this game the gameplay is at such a low level compared to it! I know gameplay is never good as the adverts etc but this is a joke! They've cut costs as well as in all the cutscenes they put in the four characters, although you choose one character to play with - and instead of making a cutscene with each character they just made one with all of them.

I just finished this and sent it back to Lovefilm. Had it on Xbox. Although I agree with the shortcuts, I think that's just down to budget of a small production house. The actual story, game play is excellent and the game is huge so loads to do.0

Yeah i have it on xbox as well. Well that is reasuring that they havn't taken shortcuts everywhere then, to be fair everything else seems pretty cool atm. Who did you play as? I also bought dead rising 2 and am looking forward to that! love the old zombie stuff.0
