recon RL or TK

Hi
This may seem like an odd question, but how can I tell if a RS Recon gold solo air fork poplock (2011) is a TK or RL version. Are the controls different? Or would I have to look internally.

The RL will have a red Rebound adjuster on the bottom of the right-hand leg

Nope both have rebound adjust. The TK has Turnkey Lockout, the RL has Motion Control damping. The knobs at the top of the leg are different - check out Sram website for pics.

Really?...well apologies then. I was looking at a set of TK's the other day and was sure they only had one adjustment knob, on the top.

Thanks, but Srams website doesn't seem to have pics of 2011 model and the poplock versions of 2012/13 look similar to me. What's the main difference?

Better damper in the RL.

My TK's are pretty good IMO not ever having anything better.

It should say on the fork. As above, Motion Control vs Turnkey damper, I have Recon Gold TK and they're great for what I use them for! Both have rebound adjustment.
