Park Tools Blue Book is excellent.

So s Zinn and The Art of Road Bike Maintenance.

Both of these are fine books. I own both but given a choice I prefer Zinn for its sheer readability.
  • Thanks alot guys, i appreciate everyones feedback. :D

i own neither but did buy Zinns MTB book and it was out out of date by such a long way.

i would only recommend paper if you have an old bike where you may not find the info you need. But Sheldon covers most of that.

  • Hi

Have to note a personal interest here (I know the author :D ), but the new Bike Book from Haynes (M Storey author) covers just about everything you should need to know

  • The park tools book is probably the best one but it's good to watch things actually being done on you tube. When I was an apprentice carpenter I worked with a chappie who always said 'observe and learn'!!!!
