Why do they very unhelpfully no longer have a telephone facility...and fail to respond to emails. Which is fine if they get your order right, but an absolute pain in the backside if not. Time to renew my link with my over priced LBS

  • You should, Cycle Logic in Chorlton is a good bike shop, with knowledgeable staff
    left the forum March 2023
  • Overpriced though, I prefer Altrincham's Bike Shak, which I justify as my LBS as the missus works in Alty...

Email them, they respond quickly and customer service has been excellent in my experience.
  • Is it me or do they seem to have pretty bad stock levels? Or just everything is in Small/XSmall? Everytime I go to look at anything it's sold out in medium/large sizes. Either everything is just really popular or they have serious problems with replenishing stock.

I've yet to buy anything from them as I think a fair bit of it is overpriced.

The only problem I've ever had was missing Haribo ...

  • JUST OPENED A BOX FROM THEM AND THERE WAS NO FUXKING HARIBO INSIDE!!!

    I blame Lance.
  • Three days ago and they aim to respond in 8 hours. Really the point is not the email but the fact that you can't phone them. Utterly bonkers! In all seriousness, the Lance effect may be a factor, if the wiggle staff no longer have an edgar contract with motoman (and I believe lance has stopped his edgar supply business in light of very circumstantial evidence against him), then the workrate of the wiggle staff will have fallen of a cliff. So in conclusion wiggle staff need blood transfusions and then my query will be resolved, everyone will receive haribo, and we'll wake up from this nightmare of the revelations that there has been a smigen of drug taking in elite cycling during the past forever...

I use to order a lot from Wiggle, but after two orders in the beginning of the year, where they failed to sort out two different problems I have not used them since.
I have found that some of the other online based companies really have opted their game and is providing a 1st class service. Ordered a new KMC chain yesterday morning from Merlin and this was delivered today FOC :D
Although I do try and support my LBS as much as I can, as they give great service and most of the times will be competitive on the price.

That will be wiggles fault then. Personally never had a problem. My local bike shop is so overpriced I go to the ends of the earth not to use them. I can buy good made in spain, shipped from spain to another country, then posted back to spain for less than half the price I can get them in the spanish shop at the end of my road. I have spent soemwhere in the region of 7-9 grand in the last 18 months and all I have bought there is a puncture repair kit and a massively overpriced pair of bib shorts. I find wiggle and CRC very good to use when out of the uk.

  • Absolutely not. I've always found their service fantastic, and I never have any worries about replacing stuff. I destroyed some shoes cycle touring and sent them for a repair to which I was given a new pair completely free.
  • They are expensive, blame yet another hedge fund buy-out but with the CTC Membership discount they move back into parity. IME customer service is their best feature.

  • I got my packet of HARIBO

Never had an issue with them personally, I've bought lads of stuff from them over the years and they've always been really prompt & helpful. Maybe you just need to spend more with them before they think you're worthy of contact ?

Never had an issue - always had prompt responses to e-mails.

Suggest the OP resends the e-mail, and will probably get a quick response.
  • Only last week I found them to be very email friendly. Informed me that a shirt was not available etc.
Don't call me sir I work for a living

    This.

In large businesses that handle as many complaints/requests/rants as the likes of Wiggle or CRC, there are obviously going to be some emails that slip through the cracks unintentionally. It is never anything personal, and I always re-send after a few days if I haven't heard anything yet.

A couple of months back, they sent a pack of energy drink powder instead of Harribo, was bloody furious.

Actually I've changed my mind, wiggle are dreadful. I've just ordered a set of Crud racers, ordered at 14:43, just got the email to say they were packed- ready for despatch, at 15:24. How can they be so inefficient, it's only Sunday....!! :D
