Depends on the length of the 0 line.

sin 3deg * Hypotenuse = the distance you're looking for.

    sin 3 deg = 0.052336

Therefore, multipy your length (in mm) by 0.052336 and that should be your answer.

    For a 1000mm 0 line the answer is 52.336mm (5.24cm)

Other sin values are here if you change the angle.

Funny how these, erm, things (I know there's a word for them but I can't remember it!! ) stick in your mind. Funniest one I heard was invented by my sister to help her kids remember the colours of a rainbow, it was " Rain On Your Garage, Blimey It's Vet" ( She couldn't think of another word for violet that would fit so she changed wet to vet, it became more memorable as a result I'd say!!)
The problem is we are not eating food anymore, we are eating food-like products.

Mnemonics. I still know the resistor colour codes thanks to an enthusiastic tutor many years ago:

Black Bugs Running Over Your Garden Bring Very Good Weather.

    Black
    Brown
    Red
    Orange
    Yellow
    Green
    Brown
    Violet
    Grey
    White

    How useful is that?
