Keswick conditions

Going up to Keswick this weekend, does anyone local or recent visitor have an idea of the conditions? Choices are either Skiddaw Loop or Borrowdake Bash but heard if it is wet then the loop is hard going!! Chances are with the summer we have had it will be soaked but any local knowledge greatly appreciated.

    We were up there 3-6th and although damp it wasn't too bad.The Borrowdale bash is pretty much weather -proof anyway,50% of it is tarmac but the very good off-road sections hold up well in the wet.Parts of the Skiddaw loop might be a slog though :roll:
