I have decided to go from my Fox Talas to Rockshox Revelations but need help deciding which ones! So far I have seen:

Revelation XX D Air XLoc

Anyone know which ones are the best? I have not a clue, all tapered and 15mm axle which I need
Thanks!

Has anyone tried the new 2013 solo air spring yet? Is it the same as the one found in lower end rs forks for a while, or something new?
Depending on how its performance compares to the dual air, I would be tempted to go for the solo air as DA adds some complexity to getting it just right.0 -
It's very similar in principle, uses a slightly different design with valving so is a touch smoother at the top of the stroke, and a little less progressive.0

I have the 2011 XX world cup solo air dual position. On the whole I am veryhappy with the fork. The dual position solo air spring is working flawlessly so far. However the xx push lock damper is a bit basic. having a hydraulic lockout is properly trick and a fab system however the damper has no low speed compression adjust so soon i will be swapping it for a MoCo DNA one.Yeti SB66c 20130

I like the dual air, it is a pain to set up but really pays off then you get it right.
Looks like I am going for the RCT3 ones! Would anyone suggest another fork for that price?0 -
Going to order tomorrow. Have seen some Revelation world cup with a carbon steerer and black box. For about the same price on ebay.
Would these be worth it over the RCT3?0 -
The World Cup are very light - depend on the price.0

It depends on whether you are happy buying used forks-they look in very good condition in the pics, but you can never be sure.
Assuming the performance of the RCT3 damper is no better than blackbox(I have tried MoCo and blackbox revs but not the new RCT3 ones) and they are in as new condition inside, I would say yes. World Cup revs are great!0
