So probably about 14 or 15 real gears instead of the 13 you have on a normal 3x9
All that money for what? £2K - 'es 'avin' a giraffe!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Not condoning his ridiculous build, but King front hub, Avid XX brakes, X.0 etc... do away with the stupid rear hub and it is that sort of value.0 -
Lightweight, with an 11 speed cassette and a Rohloff 14 speed hub you could get a 462 speed bike. Although I'm sure you could engineer a rear cassette & mech onto the front somehow, in which case 11 at the front would give you 1694 speeds.0

I'm not sure i understand WTF he was thinking?
If your gonna build a nice £3500 build surely you would do it onto a nice frame?
this reeks of a bike shop mixing and matching stuff they have lying around to sell off?
Absalutely no point of the rear gear set up.
and its green, Green is slow, everyone knows this.0 -

At least the frame is still in one piece.
